Film is much more expensive and much more difficult to shoot than digital. So then, why do I only shoot film? I found myself editing all my digital photos to look like film, and my clients would often prefer the film photos I took to the digital ones. I began asking myself the opposite question, why digital? I loved the process of film so much more, the intention behind each photo, the soft grain, the way film captures light and movement. I became fascinated by the development process of film and every technical aspect. I am still learning, but film has truly captured my heart and I hope you fall in love with film too.
